Lower Limb Venous/DVT Duplex Ultrasound

Lower limb venous ultrasounds are performed to assess the deep, superficial and perforating veins in the leg. The tests are performed in a seated position so as to assess the presence of any valvular insufficiency.

Most lower limb venous ultrasounds take approximately 10 minutes per leg.
