Lower Limb Arterial Duplex Ultrasound

Lower limb arterial ultrasounds are done to check the blood supply in the lower limbs. They are able to detect the presence of plaque, peripheral aneurysms and arterial thrombosis. Arteries scanned include the iliac, femoral, popliteal and calf arteries.

Lower limb ultrasounds take approximately 10 minutes per leg.
